Ryan and I went to middle school and high school together, but different colleges. We reconnected when we were both studying abroad in college and both on our free travel week... two of my girlfriends and I decided to go to the Island of Capri off of Italy, and we wanted to stay in Ana Capri, the other side of the island, in this little villa. When we finally arrived after traveling from Austria, I couldn't believe my eyes... and neither could Ryan. We both chose the same location to stay! It was crazy! We spent that evening and morning with Ryan and his friends he was traveling with. What an amazing thing! And Capri is still my favorite place in the world.
Four years later, Ryan got engaged to wonderful Michelle, who went to high school with us. Ryan asked me to shoot their wedding and I was completely flattered, because Ryan is a photographer himself, and a Photoshop genious!
The wedding was incredibly gorgeous-- it was a perfect day, they were SO in love, and the dance was SO much fun. Michelle has 5 sisters and 3 brothers, and she has a Venezuelan herritage... and therefore, the entire family knew how to rip up the dance floor! It was so much fun to photograph! The youngest, Nina, the flowergirl, was in a mess of tears the entire day, poor thing! Ryan and Michelle will be moving to Thialand to teach English for a year, and she was completely sad about it. The youngest brother was having a hard time with it too-- it was so beautiful to see a family with so much love for each other.
Here are just a FEW faves that Steph and I took!
Followed a small bridge to a tiny island with this great tree on. They were all more
than excited to climb it (Michelle espeically loves climbing trees). One of the
bridesmaids yelled out, "Romance novel!" and these were the poses they struck:
They really were this in love!
What is a groom to do in a new family with so many females!? Haha!
The tasty-looking before shot!
And the after shot...

GINGER!!! These are seriously amazing - you are so good! I LOVE the group shots at the beginning, but I especially think the first shot belongs in some kind of magazine - you should at least submit it for a contest - it's just SO full of emotion and joy! Great, great work on these. :)
